McDavid Sports, a longstanding supporter of youth and amateur athletics in the United States, has recently joined forces with the Amateur Athletic Union (AAU), the California Interscholastic Federation (CIF) and American Youth Football (AYF). All three organizations recognize McDavid as the official sponsor of sports medical equipment and protective wear.
In addition to sponsoring these organizations, McDavid Sports will take an active role in promoting injury prevention as well as other health-related issues among their membership.

American Athletic Union (AAU)
The AAU is one of the largest, non-profit, volunteer sports organizations in the country, with over 100 million annual visitors to its web site network. Founded in 1888 to establish standards and uniformity in amateur sport, it continues to be dedicated exclusively to the promotion and development of amateur sports and physical fitness programs.

California Interscholastic Federation - Southern Section(CIFSS)
In 1994, the California Interscholastic Federation, Southern Section was started to provide educational balance, competitive equity and fair play to high school sports. It survives today as a grassroots organization, the largest of its kind in California, servicing more than 40% of the schools in the state. The CIF serves roughly 563 schools and 8,000 coaches.
